ZWOA

You will have truly mastered the Icelandic language when you can sip "kaffi" from a saucer through a "molasykur" between your teeth while saying: "Það er gott að sjá þig".*
Robert Asgeirsson

* kaffi=coffee - molasykur=sugar cube
Það er gott að sjá þig=It is nice to see you

Thank god, “Of Monsters And Men” sing in English so that we can easily understand their song lyrics.

“Though the truth may vary this ship will carry our bodies safe to shore”

Little Talks is their earwig, a song that rotates in your head for a long time. “My Head Is An Animal”, their debut album is full of sing-along, dance-along and jump-along-around (:-)) songs. One could call their music folkpop, I would label it funny, fresh and energetic.

Existing of five men and one woman you could surely guess who is the monster. :-)

"The salty ocean wind, made the seagulls cry"

From Finner

In fact the use of a female voice as well as a male voice (Nanna Bryndis Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar þórhallsson) is one of the main magic ingredients in this musical potpourri.

Listen and enjoy for yourself.
